Why Claude over GPT or other models?
+We use whichever model is best for the job. For complex reasoning, long-context work, code, document analysis, and safety-sensitive deployments, Claude wins consistently in our evaluations. For raw speed on simple tasks, sometimes other models are a better fit. We benchmark per use case and pick accordingly.
What about data residency for New Zealand + Australia regulated work?
+For regulated work, we deploy Claude via AWS Bedrock (Sydney region) or GCP Vertex (asia-southeast1). Your data never leaves the region. We sign DPAs, configure logging properly, and provide the documentation regulators require.
Does Claude train on our data?
+No — Anthropic does not use API inputs to train models. Your data is yours. Cloud platform deployments (Bedrock, Vertex) add additional contractual guarantees.
